Juneau's 11 year old music sensation Anna Graceman and Wasilla's magic class act Landon Swank were both eliminated from NBC's America's Got Talent on Wednesday evening's show.

The results of the audience vote following Tuesday's Top 10 show were announced Wednesday evening. Landon was up early in the show against music group PopLyfe. Host Nick Cannon announced that the difference in votes between the two acts was less than 1%, before announcing PopLyfe as the act to move forward. Landon thanked his friends, family and fans and said "It's been absolutely incredible, life changing. ... Thank you [also] for all the support @LandonSwank".

As the 2nd to last pair of acts - The Silhouettes and West Springfield Dance Team - was called to the stage, it became clear that there was to be a repeat of last week's nail-biting 'elimination' with Anna Graceman and Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. head to head again on the stage. However, unlike last week, they couldn't both advance as the was only one space left in the Final 4.

When the program came back from a commercial break for the final elimination; The audience could be heard murmuring solemnly in the background as Anna and Landau were side by side in the Green Room, clearly unhappy at the prospect of one of the friends being eliminated. Anna said in an interview with KATH-TV last Friday that she and Landau have become close friends during the show. Nick could be seen taking a deep breath as he prepared to deliver the news as the three left the Green Room. Anna and Landau walked hand in hand to the stage to hear the fate of their fellow competitor.

Anna flashed a heart symbol, which has become popular on the show, with her hands to the audience as they prepared to hear the announcement. Both had neutral expressions on their face and they grappled to balance the hope of advancing and the fear of their fellow artist's elimination. Nick barely got though Landau's name as Anna erupted into happy applause as Landau looked first at the ground, then Anna, then Nick, before lifting his head in celebration. After a big hug, Anna's emotions at being eliminated overcame her joy for Landau's advancement as the studio audience gave her a standing ovation. Nick consoled her: "You've done so well. You should be extremely proud of yourself; you are a superstar." Through her tears, and smile, she remarked: "This experience has been amazing. I am so lucky to be here. To make it to the Top 10 has been a dream come true. To meet all these wonderful people. And; I'm so happy for Landau." Nick gave Anna a big hug before she waved to her millions of fans and supporters as she left the America's Got Talent stage for the last time.

We wish both Anna and Landon the best of luck in their future endeavors, and know that they will go far beyond America's Got Talent and continue to make Alaska proud. As Judge Sharon Osbourne said earlier in tonight's show; "This is not the end, this is the beginning."
